Questions on education, learning and teaching that I have been facing..

Vocational training should be a part of  the school curriculum . Critics have often pointed out the inadequacies of our education system. The school curriculum is too much academic. It is not practical or job oriented. Hence vocational training must be made compulsory in every educational institution. Actually , vocational training should be made a part of the school curriculum. liberalisation of economy has opened new avenues in industries and commerce. Information technology has brought a new revolution . computer programming has been made a compulsory subject in most of the schools. Every school and college has its own computer lab. Similarly every school must have a workshop. The students must be imparted vocational training there. Everyone can’t find a place in the corporate world. After plus two, they can became earning members for their family. vocational training centres in schools can act as feeders for the corporate world. School and environment should promote the education of girls. In every country there is always a sizeable number of conversations. They are deeply rooted in the past. They abhor any change of any kind in society. They refuse to march with the times. Actually they try to arrest  the onward march of the society. These are still many sections in India Which still discourage girls to schools. Consequently, a sizeable section of the population is deprived of education. Many muslim women have curved out their names as academicians, writers and teachers. More and amore girls are coming forward to receive education. However, There are many sections among muslims and hindus which still prefer to swim against the current. They are against sending girls to schools and colleges they consider that their responsibility is over the moment girls to schools and colleges. they consider that their responsibility is over the moment 5they may off their daughters. Cooking sewing and embroidery are all that gals need to learn during the struggle for India s independence lakhs of women were in the forefront. In free India education of gals must be given the top priority. The government must find out ways and means to promote education of girls in the country. First of all special incentives be given to girl students. Deserving and brilliant girls must be granted scholarships. They should receive free education up to senior secondary level even in private schools. More schools for girls be opened in villages, particularly in remote areas. Public transport should be made available during school  hours. Among conservative sections, the public opinion should be made in favour of gal education. India has to march with the times. And it can’t till all its girls are in schools and colleges during the morning hours. value education should also be a part of curriculum in schools . education cant be reduced merely to the job of providing degrees.   education must be ‘value based’. But value based education still remains a distant dream. The result is disastrous. The young students in schools and colleges are going astray. Some are being reduced to walking computers. The others have become white collard brutes. Both way, the development is lopsided. It is the age of neo-consumerism. Unfortunately, morals and minds of the youth are guided by the forces of market. Material prosperity has became the only aim of life. Gone are the days of simple living and high thinking .pragmatism, and not principles, is the guiding factor of life. The cable tv only polluted the young minds. It serves overdose of sex and violence. In our school various steps have been taken for the moral values of the students. In the assembly a five minute talk regarding morals and values in life is a compulsory. Education in schools suffers from many drawbacks. It dose not lead to an all round development of personality. As I have been facing that physical education is lack in schools. Physical education in schools has not received its due attention and importance. education is confined to academics. The result is disastrous. A country of about hundred crore  peoples could not win a gold metal at the Olympics. Neglectful attitude of the government towards physical education is responsible for this story state of affairs. It should be a compulsory subject upto the secondary level. Our schools lack even the primarily facilities. Many of them don’t possess good play grounds. We should catch the potential sportsmen while they are still young. Sports and games are via media of national unity and national solidarity. Inter state tournaments foster a spirit of brotherhood and co operation. Sports and games make us physically and mentally strong. After all, a healthy mind lives in a healthy body. Sometimes more assignments being also a burden for students. Stress and anxiety becomes the problems of students. Teachers do not understand the children problems. What was the reason behind his assignments are not on the time. Sometimes teachers gets strict much. Students suffer a lot. Teachers do not want to listen their problems and troubles they just want their assignments should be submitted on time. Less time more work became also on issues for students to manage all works. so teachers should understand children problems. Teachers should not be very strict. Teacher has to understand child psychology as well. Instead of punishing the student hard make him realised that he can take the help of teachers in doing assignments and should complete it and also know what kind of problem he had in assignments though student do not have done that. Studies should be stress free. Students do not get depressed.
